Nikky is Overseas Sales Manager at BlueGreen OE, which trades in China as Hunan Blue & Green Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. Nikky has worked in lighting since 2016 and is the first contact for most export inquiries: distributors, contractors and project buyers who need solar street lights, LED street lights, floodlights or industrial lighting delivered outside China.

A degree in international economics and trade shapes how Nikky works. An export order is more than a product and a price: the quotation has to state the Incoterm, the packing, the lead time and the documents the destination country requires, so that the goods clear customs without surprises. Nikky plans those details at the quotation stage, together with the sizing and configuration checks done by our engineers.

How Nikky handles an inquiry

  1. Understand the project: location, road or site type, quantities, burning hours and any tender specification
  2. Agree the configuration with our engineering team, for example the panel, battery and controller of a solar street light for the site’s worst month
  3. Quote clearly: unit prices, Incoterm (EXW, FOB or CIF), packing, lead time and payment terms
  4. Plan the documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, test reports and any import conformity programme of the destination country
  5. Follow up on samples, production, inspection, shipping and after-sales questions
