For project teams
Share a design report
After you calculate, click Download PDF report. The report lists every input, the results, the formulas and the assumptions, so a colleague, client or tender reviewer can check each step.
Methods
Lumen method and EN 13201 / EN 12464-1 guide values for lighting levels; solar sizing from daily energy balance with stated depth-of-discharge and charging-efficiency assumptions. Results are planning estimates; our engineers check final designs with photometric files and satellite solar data.
About these tools
Are these tools free to use?
Yes. All calculators are free, need no sign-up and show every formula. You can also embed them on your own website free of charge with the code on each tool page.
Can I use the results in a tender or report?
Use them for planning, budgeting and checking supplier proposals. The PDF report lists every input, formula and assumption so others can check the work. For a binding design, send us the drawings and we will run a full photometric or solar sizing check.
Who made these tools?
The engineering team of BlueGreen OE (Hunan Blue & Green Optoelectronic Technology), a manufacturer of LED road, solar and industrial lighting in Xiangtan, China, with road and industrial lighting projects completed since 2010.
Need more than an estimate?
Send us your project
Road drawings, building plans or a site location are enough. We reply with a lighting layout, solar sizing or a quotation within one working day.
