Children spend thousands of hours under classroom lighting. A good classroom scheme has two parts: low-glare ceiling luminaires that light the desks evenly, and an asymmetric blackboard light that lights the board without dazzling the teacher or students.
Our classroom range is designed to the Chinese standard for lighting design of educational buildings, whose targets are close to EN 12464-1 and most national school lighting rules.
Low glare (UGR below 19, ours are below 16), no visible flicker, good colour rendering (Ra above 80, ours above 90), 300 lx on the desks with uniformity of at least 0.7, and a separate blackboard light giving 500 lx on the board.
