The housing is high-pressure die-cast aluminium, shot-blasted and electrostatically powder coated for humid and corrosive sites. The LED board sits directly on the heat sink with modular air channels for cooling.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a crane need a special floodlight?

Cranes vibrate constantly and swing in the wind. Ordinary floodlights loosen screws, crack solder joints and lose drivers. The FZD uses anti-vibration fasteners and a rigid body, and is rated for high wind.
