The BAD8599 is the workhorse of our explosion-proof range. It is a flameproof floodlight built around an SMD LED array with a matrix layout. The LED chamber and the driver chamber are thermally separated, and the die-cast fins carry heat out of both through convection channels.

The front glass is high-strength, heat-resistant tempered glass with high light transmission. The driver is a constant-current, constant-power unit with a wide input range, so it tolerates the unstable supply common on remote industrial sites.
