In a split solar street light, the panel, battery and lamp head are separate components on one pole. Separating them lets us size each part for your site: a bigger panel for short winter days, a bigger battery for rainy seasons, and the right lamp head for the road.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose a split system over an all-in-one light?

A split system can carry a much larger panel, angled correctly for your latitude, and a bigger battery. That gives more autonomy for cloudy seasons and higher latitudes.

Where is the battery installed?

Usually in a box on the pole or buried in a sealed battery pit at the base, which keeps it cooler in hot climates. Tell us which you prefer.
